Long Beach, CA Satellite Office
In early 2010, with a growing customer base, we knew that we needed to establish a permanent presence and staff in Southern California. We needed the right person to kick off the effort and an office to give us a home base.
We had ambitious requirements…
- Serve an area from San Fernando Valley to Orange County
- Accommodate up to 8 meetings in a single day, both in and out of the office
- Get there and back from the SLO office in a single day
At the end of 2011, Steve Jones, an AP Logic developer and project manager, committed to the SoCal client management role. Long Beach airport emerged as the leading location, with plenty of freeway and aircraft access. We worked a deal in an airport professional building, got internet piped across a parking lot and moved in at the end of Q1.

In-person meetings with clients and business partners are proving very helpful in generating new business. Recently, a Microsoft Partner dropped in several minutes after he stepped off a commercial flight across the airport. He thought the location was great, and we enjoyed a bite to eat at the restaurant in our building. That’s how its supposed to work. Thanks to all who helped us get this place ready – we appreciate our clients and business partners and all their help.
As a followup, we are hiring a tech-savvy business development team member for the Southern California region – that position is listed here.
